Congratulations to our Big Bear Middle School Wrestling Team coached by Bob Antonacci.  In 2010 we had two league champs, Noah Marquez and Chris Chamblin. We had two third place wrestlers, Brandon Mendez and Art Atilano. Not bad for a first year team (the last wrestling team at the middle school was 13 years ago).

 Youth, Teen and Adult MMA Programs. We offer classes in boxing, wrestling, kick boxing, taekwondo and grappling.  We have sponsorships available for those with financial hardships.  Everyone is welcome.

"Tap Out Crime" Program. Teens and young adults that live in high risk areas, who have contact with the criminal justice system or have family members who have had contact with the criminal justice system, have behavioral problems, or who need a positive influence to help build their moral integrity are ideal candidates for our programs. Sponsorships will be available for those who need financial assistance. No individual in our Tap Out Crime program will be let go for inability to pay the monthly membership.

Carmen Adame will be joining the Sky High Training team as CFO and Executive Board Member. With Carmen's leadership skills, fundraising experience and influential contacts she will assist us in raising funds.  Funds needed to continue our operation in Big Bear and to expand our services by opening a center in Wilmington, CA.

NEW YOUTH AND FUNDRAISER DIRECTOR

Jeff Oresingo will be joining the Sky High Training team as Director of Youth Programs and Fundraising and Executive Board Member.  Jeff will use his networking skills in promoting our programs to youth groups, MMA gyms and boxing gyms throughout Sothern California.  Jeff will be developing strategic alliances with organizations to help support Sky High.

Brenda Martinez trains at the Sky High Training Center. Brenda earned a spot on the U.S. team after finishing second in the 1,500 meters at the indoor national championships and winning the mile in the New Balance Games and the U.S. Open in New York earlier this year.
